The microfiber shell fabric keeps the wind out, while the Polartec® Alpha® Direct insulating layer provides exceptional warmth with minimal weight. The stretch side panels improve fit and ventilation and are treated to be water repellent, as is the rest of the vest. There's a zippered chest pocket for valuables, and two large back pockets for easy access.
