The second-generation Sawyer MINI Water Filter is an ultra-lightweight, versatile personal filtration system that fits in the palm of your hand. Weighing just 37 g, the MINI is perfect for everything from family camping trips to international travel where tap and bottled water may not be safe.

With 0.1-micron absolute filtration, the MINI removes 99.99999% of bacteria, including Salmonella, cholera, and E. coli, and 99.9999% of protozoa, such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium. It also filters out 100% of microplastics, providing safe, clean water wherever you are.

The MINI attaches easily to the included 470 ml reusable pouch, hydration pack tubing (sold separately), or standard 28 mm thread bottles. You can also use the included drinking straw to sip directly from a freshwater source. Lightweight, durable, and compact, it’s ideal for hiking, camping, outdoor recreation, travel, and emergency preparedness.

Keep Your Filter Flowing
Restore your Sawyer filter’s flow rate by backflushing with clean water using the included syringe. Push water through the filter until it runs clear — this typically takes around three backflushing cycles. For stubborn blockages, soak the filter in warm water first; a small amount of vinegar can help dissolve mineral build‑up.
