Built with 30% recycled materials and engineered to handle the abuse only its namesake big wall can dish out, the Black Diamond Capitan E Helmet is durable and sustainably built. Featuring added coverage on the sides and back, a highly durable foam construction and a trim 2-piece shell, the Capitan has an ultra-comfortable fit and a light feel. It provides added coverage on both the sides and back while maintaining a sleek, cradle-like fit for all-day comfort. Constructed with 30% recycled materials, the Capitan E reduces impact while maintaining a high level of durability. The helmet features a 2-piece shell construction with a rigid, energy-absorbing EPS foam puck on top and softer, semi-rigid EPP foam sides. With this, the Capitan E meets the proposed UIAA increased side and back protection requirements. The Capitan’s vents provide ample breathability when temps heat up, and a low-profile suspension system helps you dial in the fit. The integrated headlamp clips with an elastic keeper on the back secure your light so you can push through the night.
