Isamu Noguchi inspired lollipop floor lamp with bamboo stem, reclaimed antique terracotta tile base, tarnished brass fittings and irregular bamboo paper lantern shade.

We chose bamboo for the stem not only for its aesthetic appeal and strength but because it is a highly sustainable and rapidly renewable material which matures in 4-5 years without the use of fertilisers or pesticides. All components are sourced in the UK and the lamps are handmade in north London.

One of the beauties of organic materials is that their growth isn’t uniform and bamboo is no exception – the dimensions given are accurate for all lamps but each bamboo stem will be unique and differ slightly from those in the images with variations in hue, ring spacing and alignment. Similarly the reclaimed antique tiles used for the bases are all unique.

Please note that all TLC lamps have UK bulb holders and plugs, we can provide UK bulb and plug converters for an additional £5 on request.

We advise the use of bulbs with a wattage no higher than 40W.
