Alien Craft DownedThe Lost S.I. Collection - First Reveal - A Rock Opera by RFUSAThis musical / concept album is a tragic story of an astronaut who ventures out into the cosmos in order to do his national duty to help colonize other inhabitable planets. Our astronaut faces challenges on the journey to a planet called Earth. But as he arrives, he is met with opposition in the sky, and is sadly shot down. Terrified, he tries desperately to save his companions and to fix his spaceship. Those on the visited planet quickly arrive at the "Alien Crash Site" and take captive our displaced hero and his comrades. As a final attempt to protect his nation from those capturing him, he detonates an explosive that destroys his ship and all hopes of returning safely to his home planet. They take our hero before a princely figure who examines him and threatens him and locks him away. The astronaut remains confined with only his thoughts and prayers to see him through. As he is examined, he finds a bond with a woman for whom he nearly falls in love, but must reject her because of their great differences. Remembering his family back home, he vows to see them again at any cost. Soon he finds himself being paraded as the "Alien" before very curious crowds, unable to understand anything said to him or about him. But he spots a rare opportunity to escape during his transport back to his cell. Without hesitation, he breaks free and runs into the nearby wilderness. Sadly, our hero is captured again and placed on trial for crimes against the Earthen Territory. Out of desperation, he writes on his body a letter to the High Command telling them not to come to that dark planet, but to find a planet where the inhabitants are of better character. Tested beyond his limits, our astronaut hero finds himself locked away in solitude having been found guilty of crimes against the Territory. Suffering with self-pity, after facing the delusional prince who has subjected him to his punishment, he comes to grips with who he is in relationship to God and his own life. Soon, the day comes when he must pay for his crimes. He tries one last trick, pretending he is only an actor portraying to be the alien and that the alien is still free and on the run, attempting to convince the Executioner that he is about to put to death an innocent person. Unwilling to concede, the switch is thrown, our hero, deceased. Buried in the ground, the astronaut wakes and screams and calls, but no one can hear his pleading, as he fades off, begging to go to heaven. The Tragedy complete. Read more
